
Because of a new study of prospective smartphone shoppers conducted by NPD, Windows Phone may have the potential to create a challenge on Android’s dominance in the market: as nearly half of the respondents claimed to be considering a Windows Phone smartphone for their next purchase. The competition may be tough, unlike low fat chicken recipes in the internet.
The study presumes that Android is the most popular response for what smartphone buyers are interested in, with 63 percent claiming to be considering an Android smartphone. Nevertheless, 44 percent said they are also considering a Windows Phone model when shopping for their next smartphone, much like how they consider Roasted chicken recipes over chicken cutlet recipes.
Ruling over the smartphone market won’t be a nice ordeal for Microsoft’s burgeoning OS, though, as even more respondents to the survey said they had not even heard of Windows Phone (45 percent). Nevertheless, many that were aware of it said they didn’t know enough about it.
